Due to the popularity and COVID-19 guidelines by both our council and WT, only the first 75 Scouts BSA members will be able to attend. No adults will be allowed this year in order to get the most Scouts possible in the class.
Lunch and a snack will be provided as part of the fee.

Attention Cub Scouts!!
Come and join us for an hour of fun from 10am to 11am on January 22 at the Scout Service Center building a Pencil Box OR Tool Box OR Airplane. The kits will be provided as part of the fee ($5.00) along with everything you need to build the kit.
We will have a “Instructor” here to help the scouts but a Parent or Guardian MUST attend and assist the scout as needed.
No skill necessary as these are cub scout kits that are easy to build and decorate.
We have a limited number of each of the three kits so you need to stop by the Scout Shop and claim one OR if you aren’t able to visit us, CALL Heidi or Kathy and let them know which kits you want (first come-first serve) and we will reserve it for you to get on January 22.
The Scout Shop will be open that day so if you need other supplies, uniforms, scout shirts, mugs, camping supplies etc., you can shop at that time.

Cub Scout Leader/Parents- Please join us for BALOO Training. BALOO stands for Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation and is required by BSA rules that at least one registered member of a Pack has completed this course and attends a Pack Campout that is not conducted by the Council or Districts. Most packs have at least 2-3 trained leaders. If your Pack is planning any campouts this spring and don’t have a trained person to go on that campout, it will not be approved. This is an overnight course and there is a prerequisite trainings that must be done BEFORE attending the in person class. You can find that training at my.scouting.org and then click the drop down on the right side of the page, choose my training, choose Cub Scouting, choose Catalog, search BALOO, and complete the course. It will take about 35 minutes. The cost is $15.00 to cover supplies, food and camp. expenses. Once you register, more information will be emailed to you.
Scouts BSA Leaders/Parents– Please join us for Outdoor Leadership Skills Training. This course is required for you to be a trained Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster or simply an informed person about the rules and policies of Outdoors adventures. This is the second part of the training for Scoutmasters- the first is the Scoutmaster Position Specific Training. This course is typically only offered two times per year and is currently the only one scheduled. If you are attending OKPIK Winter Adventure, the cost for this training is FREE. If not, the cost is just $15.00 that covers supplies, food, and camp expenses. This is an Overnight training. Once you register, more information will be emailed to you.
Note- You will see on the attached flyer that the dates are Mar 4-6. If you are attending OKPIK on that weekend, you will not be required to camp two nights for this course- only one is required!
Please join us for Scouting for Food. This year, more than ever, our communities need us to help the local food bank or church pantry replenish food supplies. Nonperishable items and canned goods are needed. Our communities give so much to scouting, how about we do a good turn and give back by participating.
