It’s time to start preparing for the annual Scouting for Food event, which will be held on March 28, 2020 this year!
Food insecurity is an issue for families all throughout the Texas Panhandle and our teamwork can make a big difference! Last year the Golden Spread Council collected and donated nearly 7,000 pounds of food to the High Plains Food Bank who then distributed it to our neighbors in need! Let’s break the 7,000 pound mark this year!
Bring the family to Camp Don Harrington for fun “Down on the Farm!”
Enjoy horsemanship demonstrations, overnight camping, hay rides, and a farm animal petting zoo! Hear from local about what it takes to feed out communities, roping classes, and much more!
