Membership Application Approval Process

We want to clarify who signs the approvals on Adult AND Youth Applications as we are seeing some issues over the past weeks.

All Adult Applications must be approved by the Chartered Organization Head OR Chartered Organization Representative on the PAPER Application. The Committee Chairman no longer signs the paper application. The online Adult Application must be approved by the Chartered Organizational Representative and/or the Committee Chairman depending on how your unit is setup. If your unit wants to change who can approve online applications, please call Stephen Keel at the Scout Service Center- 358-6500 for instruction.

All Youth Applications are approved by the Unit Leader OR their designee on the PAPER Application. Online applications can be approved by any member of the unit’s Key 3 which are Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, Crew Advisor, Committee Chairman, and Chartered Organization Representative.

The most current Adult Paper Application is dated 12/18 and is located at the bottom right corner of the application. The Youth Application is dated 12/18 and is located at the bottom right corner of the application. Please discard old applications as they will no longer be accepted.
