School Night
Is your Pack ready? School Night is the largest recruiting effort in the Golden Spread Council. This fall more than 800 new boys and their families will join the Cub Scouting program. Our goal is to ensure their first experience will be a positive one.
There are several new enhancements to this year's program that your unit needs to be aware of. If your pack has not received your School Night information, contact your district executive or the Scout Service Center as soon as possible.
Every Pack should have the following:
- Race to Cub Scouting Packet - this contains all information for a successful School Night including agendas to help run your meeting. The kit also contains a flyer order form for your unit.
- Cub Scout Parents' Orientation Guide - one per new family. This guide helps explain Cub Scouting in easy to understand terms for members. Check out the link below to view the guide. Your district executive can provide you with printed copies.
- School Night Posters - as many as you need to promote your joining night.
- Cub Scout and Adult leader applications
- New Den Leader Kit - one for every new den leader recruited. This kit will help the new leader navigate the critical first month of Cub Scouting.
If your unit is missing any of these materials, please contact your district executive or the Council Service Center. |
